VA-FD: |
Fire dampers provide an automatic means of
localising areas of fire in ventilation systems. The VA-FD fire
dampers are suitable for installation in walls and ceilings made from
concrete or brickwork. Fire dampers prevent individual rooms or
zones by sealing of any supply or extract air and will stop the spread
of fire through duct, walls or floors. There is a wide choice of sizes available suitable for low, medium and high velocity applications. The dampers are fitted with standard release 72°C fusible links unless otherwise specified. |

| Frame: | Galvanized Steel Sheet normally fabricated in 18 / 16 Gauge. Higher gauges will be provided as required. |
| Blades: | Galvanized Steel Sheet 18 / 14 Gauge construction with not more than 175mm width. Higher gauges will be provided as required. |
| Bushings: | Self Oiling Brass Bushes 10mm diameter. |
| Pins: | Plated Steel Rod 10mm diameter. |
| Spring: | Constant Force Stainless Steel Spring. |
| Fusible Link: | Fusible Link is used which melts at normally 70 - 75 Deg. Celsius.. |
